Use the same calculation for every option
One-off dinner: booking charge + food + drinks + travel. Subscription: the subscription cost over the period you will actually use, divided by the number of dinners you realistically attend, plus the venue bill and travel. Do not assume you will attend every week to make a plan look cheaper.
For illustration only, a £25 restaurant bill plus the £15 standard KF fee totals £40 before travel. £25 is an example, not a quoted menu price or spending guarantee. With KF Premium, include the membership cost as well as the discounted £5 booking fee.
Choose the format before the app
- Matched dinner: Timeleft advertises group matching and dinners, drinks and runs across multiple countries. Its how-it-works guide describes subscriptions with venue costs paid separately. Check the offer available for your city.
- Another matched-meal option: DayOfUs advertises group meals and lists London. Confirm the date, charge and cancellation terms in its booking flow; a city listing alone is not a reservation.
- Interest-led group: Meetup lets you choose groups and events. Format, size and charges depend on the organiser. It is useful when returning to the same activity matters more than having a dinner arranged.
- Food-led experience: Eatwith offers experiences with hosts and chefs. Check the particular menu, setting and inclusions.
What a KF.Social dinner includes
KF.Social currently runs one London dinner a week, on Thursdays at 7pm London time. The schedule may change or expand; check the published dates before making plans. A £15 matching fee covers matching your table and booking the restaurant. Food and drinks are paid separately at the venue. You can book on the web without a required membership or app download.
The table is arranged for six, matched by age and interests. The restaurant is revealed six hours before dinner; your group and its chat open one hour before. Booking closes six hours before the sitting. Optional Premium membership reduces the booking fee to £5; membership is £8.99 monthly or £49.99 annually.
Cancel at least 72 hours before the dinner for a card refund of the matching fee. Inside 72 hours it is not refunded. If KF.Social cancels, the matching fee is refunded in full. Read the booking terms and current dates.
