When you accept a quote, a temporary hold is placed on your payment method for the quoted amount. This is not a charge - it reserves the funds to ensure the professional will be paid when the job is done.
Steps
- The hold is placed when you accept a quote.
- The hold remains until you mark the booking as complete or cancel.
- If cancelled, the hold is released back to your payment method within a few business days.
Tip: Payment holds may appear as pending transactions on your bank statement.
