George's lessons from a first investor call

As a founder, no one cares about the success of my company more than I do. 🙏 I had a meeting with an investor for the first time and I learned that I need to screen them before I go on a call. I spent 6 hours preparing everything beforehand and the call was basically an argument of the investor attacking my idea and not listening to a word I’m saying.

Very frustrating talking to a wall. My time is very important and I choose not to use it like that.

I am of course professional and I have no issues with that person but I don’t see myself partnering with someone who doesn’t value my time.
