KF.SocialApply for Verification
The verified badge confirms your identity. To get it, you complete a short identity check in the app. You photograph a government identity document and record a quick liveness selfie, and KF.Social confirms the document is genuine, that it matches you, and that the identity is not already linked to another account.
Steps
- Go to Settings, then Verification, and tap Get Verified.
- Follow the prompts to photograph your identity document.
- Complete the liveness check by following the on-screen movements.
- Submit and wait for the result. Most checks are automated and finish quickly.
If the automated check fails, you can ask for a person on our team to check it. If you cannot take a selfie, tap Can't take a selfie? and a person will check your document instead. No selfie is used and no face record is kept. Verification is optional and only adds the badge.
Tip: Once a decision is made, the document and selfie images are deleted. If you are verified by the automated check, we keep a face record to re-check your identity and prevent duplicate or fake accounts, until you withdraw consent or delete your account.
Important: Use your own genuine document. Submitting someone else's document or false information can restrict your account.
