The game is a laugh. This part is not. Here is what actually helps.
What should I do immediately if my phone is stolen? +
Use another device to lock and erase it remotely through your account, report it to the police for a crime reference number, and tell your network so they can block the SIM. Do it fast, before anyone gets in.
Can a stolen phone be tracked? +
Sometimes, using the built in find-my-device feature if it is switched on and the phone is online. Never go after it yourself, share the location with the police instead.
How do bike phone snatchers operate? +
Usually a quick grab from the pavement as you hold your phone near a road, then away on an e-bike. Staying aware near kerbs and not standing still with your phone out makes you a much harder target.
Does reporting a stolen phone actually help? +
Yes. A crime reference number is often needed for insurance, blocking the device, and any chance of recovery, and it helps the police map where these crimes cluster.
