Six people, matched on age and shared interests. Who you are eating with lands an hour before you sit down, and the group chat opens at the same time. Everyone there booked a seat and paid for it, the same as you did. Guests can also choose to verify who they are with an ID check, and you see the tick if they have.
The app is free. A seat costs a £15 matching fee, which covers the matching and the restaurant booking. Premium members pay £5. Food and drinks are yours at the venue, like any night out.
At a restaurant in London that we choose and book. We send you the restaurant six hours before the table. It lands late on purpose: the later we commit, the longer we can move or merge tables to keep a night full, and nobody is told something that then stops being true.
Neither. It is dinner. There is no swiping and no matches, nobody hands out cards, and the table is not built around what you do for work.
Then it does not happen. A table needs at least four people to run. If it has not got there a few hours before, we cancel it and the matching fee goes straight back to your card, automatically. You do not have to ask.
Cancel 72 hours or more before the table and the matching fee goes back to your card. Cancel later than that and the fee is not refunded. If we cancel the table, you get a full refund to your card whatever the clock says.
Plans change. Cancel 72 hours or more before the table and the matching fee goes back to your card. Inside the last 72 hours the fee is not refunded. Booking itself stays open until six hours before.
